The linkage system is made out of die-cast aluminum, and will hold up to 136kg (300 lbs). The retraction pivot points are composed of stainless steel pins which swing up or down with ease, while offering heavy duty support.
As you can see in the images, the AMP Research BedStep comes with a non-slip step pad. It is made out of durable and glass reinforced composite, which assists in a safe step up.
Simply kick the step down with a gentle nudge of a toe and whether the tailgate is open or not, you’ve got the boost needed for a comfortably and safe stepping experience. When your truck bed trip is complete and you’re ready to step down, simply flip the pad up into its retracted place and go about your business. No bending over. No tracks to roll, no nothing!
